A White House #Resistance From Within: Let's Pump The Brakes

Washington D.C. and the entire country is enthralled with this New York Times op-ed written by a "senior administration official".

The administration official says they are apart of the #Resistance. This person says they along with a bevy of other administration officials are actively thwarting parts of President Trump's agenda and are blocking policies and actions that are a product of his worst impulses, inclinations and a general lack of knowledge and intelligence.

This person mentioned Trump is impetuous, petty and childish. They said his inability to learn causes him to make ill-informed, half-baked and reckless decisions.

The op-ed lamented his amorality and tendency to flip flop on decisions. Sometimes he does it within minutes.

The author also wrote that Trump's inherent inclinations are anti-trade and anti-democratic. He or she bemoaned his overt affinity for dictators and despots while alienating our closest and most longstanding allies.

And, the writer said discussions took place early on in the administration's tenure regarding evoking the 25th Amendment but "nobody wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis.

The op-ed wasn't completely negative. The author noted the administration had many successes "in spite of" the President's chaotic, bombastic and confrontational leadership style. They pointed to the enormous "deregulation, tax cuts and a robust military". The author said many of the administration's policies have made America "safer and more prosperous".

The op-ed insisted the American people not worry because there is a plethora of people inside the administration who are placing country ahead of an allegiance to Trump. They vow to steer the country in the right direction "until-one way or another- it's over."

Naturally, Trump has responded in his normal measured manner-by calling the author "gutless" and demanding Attorney General Jeff Sessions investigate this. Trump has said the author is treasonous. *Sigh* Way to disprove the allegation you're ignorant of American democracy there, Donnie.

Some have concurred with the President this person is gutless while others have labeled this person a "patriot and hero". Many have said this person is complicit and simply assuaging their guilt by being "resistant" when they should be coming forth with detailed information and alerting the public.

I fall into the latter category.

Allow me to unpack this op-ed a little.

I am not quick to extend an invite to this person so they can attend the #Resistance pancake breakfast. The question must be asked how resistant is this person?

When I first saw the headline my initial thought was, "Oh, hell naw! Somebody inside that shitshow has been #woke!" But, then I read the op-ed. It seemed more like a decaffeinated resistance than a Starbucks venti latte with a double espresso shot resistance.

The writer appeared to be in-line with the vast majority of Trump's agenda while displaying disdain for his ignorance, pettiness, bombast and recklessness.

Pointing to deregulation, tax cuts and gratuitous military spending isn't exactly "resistance like". That's not policy stances that are going to garner you a second interview for entry into the club. All of those policies benefit the extremely wealthy. They do jackshit for the average American.

Saying America is safer and more prosperous because of Trump's policies is just not true.

Where was the mentioning about the separation of migrant children from their parents at the southern border? That is the quintessential example of his amorality.

What about his unmoored affinity for pissing on the rule of law? That is as authoritarian as anything.

While his penchant for dividing the country was mentioned where was the repudiation of his insulting the intelligence of intelligent successful people of color and his blatant shameless use of dog whistles? What about his foreplay with White Supremacists and refusal to flatly disavow them; thus by proxy emboldening them? Are these not blatant displays illuminating his recklessness and worst impulses?

However, none of those things were mentioned or even intimated. Again, this piece seemed to bemoan who Trump is as a person but not his policies.

Yes, Trump is a repugnant human being-an amoral shallow "empty barrel" if you will. But, his policies are equally repugnant and abhorrent; however, this author neglects to address it.

So, the questions pervading the American political landscape and societal discourse the last few days are...who wrote this op-ed and why.

The latter I believe I have a pretty solid answer for, at least partially. But, the former is something I have given much thought, likely way more than I should have or it deserves. Most of y'all know me well enough to know I love a good hot mess and a mystery.

Regarding this hot mess and mystery I am truthfully stumped. I have no concrete possibilities. Because virtually everyone in this dumpster fire presidency (and I mean everyone) is a legitimate candidate, it is almost impossible to narrow down a list of suspects.

The even money in Vegas says it is Vice President Mike Pence. He was in my first two or three suspects. As George Will said, he's oleaginous. (I admit I never knew that word existed before reading it in Will's column but it's now one of my new favorite words. And, it describes Pence perfectly.) The word "lodestar" was used and it is a word Pence uses a lot. All of that along with the fact an article came out last week saying Pence believes "God wants him to be president" makes him a comprehensive choice.

It could be Kellyanne Conway whom actually the word "oleaginous" succinctly describes.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a possibility. Maybe her despicable sycophantic show at the White House press podium is a rouse. Maybe she thinks she's sacrificing her dignity for the greater good.

General John Kelly is a certain possibility. His contempt for Trump seems to be quite evident now. The man said, "this is the worst job I've ever had", and he's been in multiple wars.

Shit, let's be real! Trump is a detestable human being and an ineffective leader who is gleefully proud of his ignorance, illiteracy, non-existent moral compass and unadulterated stupidity. I would like to think most serious people, especially those aiding in the running of our country, would find someone like this objectionable and repulsive. It could be any number of folks.

That is why I tend to believe this was a group effort. The author said several times that a group of people were circumventing the President when they felt it was necessary and placing the safety of the country first.

Much of the phrasing of this op-ed has the hallmarks of Pence's speech pattern. However, it also has sprinkles of language someone like a Kelly or Dan Coates (DNI Director) or General James Mattis would use. I see some Kellyanne in the article. Hell, I even see a smidge of Stephen Miller.

Regardless who wrote the op-ed, it raises legit concerns.

There seems to be something inherently unnerving about unelected administration and White House officials undermining the President of the United States' authority. For better or worse Trump was elected president. These officials were not.

This behavior actually lends credence to Trump's inane "Deep State" ramblings. It is evident a faction within Trump's orbit is actively undermining his presidency, at least intermittently.

But, that leads to the other issues raised. What in the fuck is going on inside the White House-the peoples house?!

This op-ed doesn't lay out some hostile coup d'état being performed by a group of insurgents. The op-ed writer praises many elements of the administration. They never issue a call for the President to be removed other than a brief 25th Amendment discussion.

However, this group of people seem to believe they have to conduct this intermittent insurgence to protect us from the President. They feel his erratic nature, loose grasp of the truth and reality and fragile ego will get the country involved in a devastating conflict or perilous situation.

Bob Woodward described in his forthcoming book, "Fear", one such example. Trump decided he wanted Syrian leader, Bashar Al-Assad, assassinated. Trump called Secretary of Defense, James Mattis, and demanded it be done despite Mattis' objection. Trump kept insisting so Mattis "gave in". Immediately after the call ended Mattis (understanding the grave implications such actions would induce) told his aide, "We're not doing any of that."

While we should all be thankful Mattis did that, we should be even more terrified that he had to.

How many times has such insanity taken place? How many conflicts have been avoided because aides, officials and cabinet secretaries have disobeyed orders? And, what did Trump do? According to nuanced examples in Woodward's book the President likely forgot about it. As the op-ed author stated another official said to them, "It's useless talking to him because he changes his mind from one minute to the next."

Look, whoever this op-ed writer is they need to actually do more than write an article. They need to go to Congress. I understand this is the most limp dicked Congress in history, but provide detailed information. Demand they do something or go public. That would be actual resistance.

Members of the Senate Bob Corker, Jeff Flake and Ben Sasse  all said this op-ed stated everything multiple people inside the White House has been telling them since "day one". Well, then why the hell aren't you doing something?

I will tell you why. Their resistance is decaffeinated weak, feckless. They are resisting against Trump, the man, because he is an amoral odious repulsive loathsome person. He was has no guiding principles and they find that to be unpalatable.

However, they wanted tax cuts, deregulation, ungodly increases in military spending, repeal of the Affordable Care Act and although they find the methods distasteful increased enforcement of illegal immigration.

This is not the #Resistance!

The op-ed provided a clear view into a, if not the, motivation for writing this piece. The line, "We will continue to steer this country into the right direction until-one way or another- this ends.

That line stood out to me the first time I read it and has every subsequent time I've read it.

Whoever this author is letting you know shit is about to get real. They know whether it's the Mueller investigation, Michael Cohen, Stormy Daniels, Summer Zervos, something we don't even know yet or likely a combination of all is going to bring this president down.

Trump has lived a life of wealth and privilege and that wealth and privilege has allowed him to live a life of crime. That wealth and privilege and an extraordinary amount of good luck has insulated him from being held accountable. He has spent his entire adult life being irresponsible, reckless, cruel and unaccountable. It is finally catching up to him. His time is about up.

The composer(s) of this op-ed seem to be aware of this. My assumption is they have some pretty concrete reasons why they feel this way. I'm not bathing in conjecture here. You don't make a statement like "until one way or another this ends" unless you have an idea it is ending.

So, I believe, at least in part, this op-ed is attempting to assuage its author(s) of any complicity and culpability. When (not if) this shitshow implodes they want to be insulated from the nuclear fallout. They want to be able to say, "It wasn't us! See, we were saving the country from the imbecilic insane man-child king!"

Yeah, let me know how that works out for ya.

Every single person who has been inside the administration and has firsthand knowledge of Trump's mental instability and unfathomable ignorance and autocratic tendencies and desires yet did nothing of substance will be judged harshly by history.

That assclown isn't the president just for his fanatical base. Don't forget almost three million more citizens didn't vote him than did.

This is a government of the people. We have a right to know when shit goes sideways. We, also, have a reasonable expectation the democratically elected president isn't having his power usurped or worse yet it must be usurped because he is literally an insane madman.

The Truth Regarding Outrage Over Colin Kaepernick And The Anthem Protest

Right off the bat I know I'm going to piss off some folks. Whatevs. Your tears and saltiness I can use for a splendid margarita. Sorry. Not sorry.

This "outrage" over Nike featuring Colin Kaepernick in its newest ad campaign is all but three days old and it is tired as hell.

The outrage over the NFL anthem protest is so contrived and so disingenuous Kardashian melodrama thinks people need to check themselves.

Labor Day night Nike announced Kaepernick was going to be the feature of a new ad campaign and many Trumpsters on Twitter and Facebook nearly lost they damb minds! These people had meltdowns that made the Real Housewives say, "Please! Get ahold of yourselves."

From the way these folks were reacting you would've thought Netflix announced they made a deal with Barack Obama to produce some documentaries or something...

My Twitter feed was lighting up with people stating how "disgusted" and "sickened" they were with Nike. Then, people started demanding boycotts.

I go on Facebook and I see pics featuring knobs cutting swooshes off Nike apparel. But, the best was saved for last. Out of nowhere timelines are inundated with clowns burning shoes, clothes, bags, hats. One dumbass set his damn lawn on fire because he set his shoes on fire.

Effin snowflakes!

What did these assclowns think they were accomplishing? Showing Nike what "real Americans" do to protest and display their anger?

These fucktards do realize Nike doesn't really care, right? They very likely weighed the potential outrage and said it was worth it. I mean these people are burning their $150 shoes that they already bought which means Nike already got paid. Do I even need to address the stupid bastards who went out and purchased Nike shit just to burn it?

No child left behind is a damb lie!!!

The anger over Kap and the entire NFL protest is so disingenuous.

The protest antagonists say kneeling during the national anthem is "disrespectful to the flag, the anthem, the military and the vets". Kaepernick and the players among others have repeatedly said kneeling has absolutely nothing to do with any of those things.

Kap was explicitly clear from the jump what the protest is about. The players are kneeling to bring attention to the disproportionate killing of unarmed men of color by law enforcement, the unnecessary killing of black men in general regardless whose doing the killing and the systematic racial inequality that, yes, still exists in America.

Now, what I am about to say I said in my initial Facebook post about this topic and in subsequent Facebook and Twitter post and comments. Before I say this I am preemptively imploring some people to read the forthcoming statement slowly and repeatedly if necessary, which it will be, because I have been in enough arguments about this. Some folks are hardheaded and want to gloss over shit and strawman. It ain't that kind of day.

I would have not chosen kneeling for the anthem as my form of protest because of exactly what has transpired and because I would stand for the anthem. HOWEVER, these players have every right to protest via this expressive form. It is their First Amendment right. This choice of protest makes some uncomfortable. Guess what, buttercup, protest is supposed to make people uncomfortable. That's the freakin point. It's how attention is drawn. And, this particular form of protest is as peaceful and silent as protest can be.

Most importantly, the players cause is noble, just and right.

What the anthem protest opponents will say and have said is that, of course, it's the players' First Amendment right but "they are at work when they're playing and the job isn't the place for protest". Well, that is not true. There is a long history in this country of people protesting at their place of employment.

Then, the counter argument is, "Well, their employees and their bosses say they can't kneel. I can't go to my job and kneel or protest."

First of all, their bosses didn't say a word about the protests until a certain person stuck his nose into a situation he had no business getting involved in. Secondly, citing they can't go into their job and kneel or protest is a strawman. It also at the very least shows an inexplicable ignorance or is just blatantly disingenuous.

Someone doing a 6 to 3 shift at the tool and die shop is not anywhere near the same as a professional athlete. It is an insanely stupid comparison. While the tool and die job is perhaps more tangibly contributive to society nobody is seeing then work. Professional athletes, on the other hand, have a huge platform they can use for good. And, whether it is right or not, the athlete has more visibility and celebrity; thus, it almost inherently gives them a larger civic responsibility. How often do you hear folks bitch about athletes not living up to their responsibility to the youth and society because they are famous?

I will wholeheartedly concede the players are employees and the owners are private business owners who can run their business as they please. But, I contend they shouldn't silence these players. Yes, it's not infringing upon their free  speech rights legally, but it certainly is violating the spirit of free speech. Much like the social media platforms with Alex Jones.

The owners are always expecting players to be "ambassadors for the game" and be civically involved with the community. Well, that is what they're doing.

But, then we get to the heart of the situation. The antagonists say the players should protest on their own time. They ask why do these guys care so much because they are rich. Then, the true core of the anger pokes its head out, "These players need to shut up and play. Nobody cares. They wouldn't even be playing if it weren't for us."

The chick who headed the Republican Party for Beaver County, Pennsylvania let the cat out of the bag. I don't remember her name. I don't really give a shit too.

When she repeatedly called the players "baboons" in her Facebook posts and flat out said it was white people who pay their salaries, as if people of color don't attend football game, she wasn't just speaking for herself. She was speaking for a large contingency.

I have argued with these people on Facebook, Twitter and in person. They make an attempt to cloak their anger about the anthem protest in patriotism, but it's really not about patriotism at all. If it were, they would be appalled the numerous violations of the flag according to the U.S. flag code that take place week in and week out at college and professional sporting events. People wouldn't wear flag thened bikinis, speedos and tacky ass shirts .

This entire anthem protest "outrage" is about "spoiled rich black men" having the audacity to speak out against social injustice. They should be happy their making money instead of being in prison because obviously that is where they would be if not for charitable white men allowing them to a play game and hard working white people attending the game. This is the attitude even though I know there are people shaking their heads "no" right now.

I don't know if people don't realize it or they really believe they can pull the wool over our eyes. It usually takes less than three minutes into a discussion about the anthem protests before how much money the players make comes up.

If this was really about the flag and the vets, people would've been livid when the current president repeatedly didn't hold his hand over his heart during the presidential debates.

If this was really about the flag and vets, these people would demand adequate funding for the VA.

If this was about the flag and the vets, they would understand the vets fought for these dudes' right to protest including not standing for the national anthem.

If this was about the flag and vets, these practitioners of fuckery and dumbassery who were burning Nike gear would've donated those things to homeless vets. Or, they would've sold that shit and gave the proceeds to any number of veterans organizations.

Instead, they chose to pick up their phone, hit record and put their unmitigated unfathomable remedial intellect on display for all to see. The real intellectual giants really showed Nike because they went out and purchased Nike gear just to burn on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. I'm sure the executives at Nike watched in horror as their merchandise burned and wondered, "What kind of fucking tool buys $60 pair shoes just set on fire?"

I'll tell you what kind. Snowflakes who are all in their feelings because Colin Kaepernick is featured in a Nike ad.

And, what's really amusing is they assholes love to gloat about Kap being blackballed from the league but their bigotry which is cloaked in their incessant fake ass bitching and pretentious patriotism has made Kap more famous than he ever would've been if they'd left him alone so he could be the backup quarterback in Seattle or Cleveland or wherever.

The Media's Job Is To Be Objective, Not "Fair And Balanced"

Today's media has lost sight of what its primary function in our democracy is.

The mainstream media has become obsessed with this false philosophy of being "fair and balanced". The role of a free press is not to be fair but objective.

The Founding Fathers believed in the essential need of an unmoored free press, which is why it is listed in the First Amendment of the Constitution. But, they didn't believe the press should be free but adversarial. They steadfastly believed that a truly free democratic republic could not be maintained without a free press.

The press is supposed to be the link between the people and its government. The press is to be the truth teller to the public and be a check on power whether it be government or the private sector.

But, above all the press is to be the arbiters of truth. The media job is to present objective facts.

Somewhere along the line the media and the public have forgotten that.

We live in a time where our society is polarized. We are polarized because we live in bubbles that make us feel safe. We are not interested in reading or hearing truth unless it is "our" truth.

Facts have become subjective. Yelling and whining have become the methods of choice to manipulate reality.

Unfortunately, the mainstream media has succumbed to the complaining.

For the last 30 plus years the press has been bombarded with claims of being "biased" and "left wing". To be fair the accusation of being biased have persisted since the press' inception. However, in the last 30 years the political class (especially the right) have weaponized the assertions.

As a result, the media has began kowtowing to pushback against the narrative. Also, corporations buying media outlets have somewhat compromised journalistic practices.

The media is obsessed with the notion of being "fair and balanced". However, this notion is unrealistic and contradictory to journalism ethics.

Good reporters simply relay the facts. Facts are tangible and objective. They are not fair. In fact, they are often unfair.

Now, I am going to make this crystal clear. The vast majority of reporters and news hosts convey facts. They tell an objective truth. But, in their misguided attempt to be fair they step all over the truth leading to doubts about their credibility.

This is what drives me crazy about the mainstream press regardless if it's print or television.

I believe the New York Times and the Washington Post along with the majority of the other large newspapers produce good work. But, they crap on it by not staying objective.

The Times and the Post are the worst at this. They will produce a well written, well sourced article about a politician or political figure that its constitution is tangible facts. They will seek out a response from the article's subject . That subject will answer questions but the answers are provably false.

Here is what drives me insane. They will just leave let the answers lie there without pushback or context all in the name of being balanced. No, it's the journalist's job to pushback on the answers and demand forthrightness.

Cable news, in particular, CNN is even worse.

What amuses me to no end is the way the President and his supporters constantly rail against CNN for being "fake news" and being "biased". It is such an asinine assertion. Nobody goes out of their way more to be "fair" than CNN.

I have seen innumerable times a Trump supporter go on a CNN show telling boldface lies. They make disingenuous or misleading statements. More often than not the anchor whether it be Brooke Baldwin, Erin Burnett, Anderson Cooper will just allow the Trump pundit to say tangible falsehoods without any substantial pushback.

That is awful journalism. Their job is not be equitable. Their job is to uphold the truth. So, when someone whether they be liberal or conservative is lying or misleading it's the duty of the reporter to fact check them.

Why does this nonsense take place? Well, it's because of money.

Republicans are always crying about the media being liberal, but they aren't. I'll concede the majority of reporters are left leaning. Not as much as you may think though. And, although the majority of reporters may be liberal, their bosses are not.

Most mainstream media is owned by corporations; thus, the media is corporatists.

The desire for truth has been replaced by the desire for access and sponsors.

A time existed in America the press sought the truth regardless of whom may be exposed or whose careers may be damaged. Journalists weren't swayed by conglomerates or the military complex. But, times have changed.

Like with most things in our society, profit margin dictates the manner in which things are done. Journalists straddle the line of being purveyors of truth while not pissing off their bosses or those in power.

It is the reason Devin Nunes can go on Fox News lying out his ass and Bret Baier nor Brit Hume provide any real resistance. It is the reason Nancy Pelosi can go on MSNBC blatantly lying and even take uncalled for dishonest cheap shots at NBC News while a great journalist like Jonathan Capehart just nods and smiles. All of the aforementioned are excellent journalists but they know if they display any actual contradiction they could feel management's wrath because management will feel the wrath of viewers and sponsors. Also, they may lose access to that particular politician.

This ideal the press holds that it must live up to this impossible and antithetical standard of being balanced is asinine. This fear of being stigmatized "liberal" is simply illogical.

First of all, it's an effort made in vain. Right-wingers will always label the press "far-left" when they receive negative coverage. Left-wingers will always label the press "biased" when they receive negative coverage. So, the press should just stick to its principles and be objective.

The reality is not only is it fruitless for the media to play it down the middle it will always backfire. They come across as disingenuous which in some folks' view is the same as being dishonest and biased.

Here is an example. Recently, CNN's Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon did commentaries on Antifa. Their commentaries left an impression with some that they're Antifa sympathizers. They are not but the impression they gave was because of their inane affinity for fairness.

Both men's argument was that Antifa's stated purpose is to fight fascism, racism and bigotry. That is objectively true.

They contended Antifa's ideology in principle is not morally equivalent to that of White Nationalists, Klansmen or Neo-Nazis. Again, that is objectively true.

But, where they ran into trouble was their neglect or at least soft-peddling of Antifa's methods. Antifa believes in violence (at least to some extent) as a means of achieving their goals. Antifa has at various times performed violence in the acts of destroying property and harassment.

In both cases when people from the right (justifiably so) pointed out the failure to mention this they defended themselves by saying they are not being apologists for Antifa. Then, as right-wingers are inclined to do they directly associated Antifa with Democrats. Instead of fact checking these people they gave mealy-mouthed responses which seemed to be making more excuses for Antifa and allowing a false narrative to exist.

Now, I want to stress I think both men are exceptional journalists but in their unavailing efforts to be fair they looked ridiculous and pissed off everyone in the process and failed miserably at being objective.

What they should've done is make the valid point what Antifa stands for is empirically more morally palatable than what the Alt-Right stands for, but also make the point Antifa's methods are violent which is almost always counterproductive. They should have also stringently stressed that Antifa has been not been endorsed or supported by any Democratic officials or liberal leaders. These are objective truths.

Now, I want to emphasize I am not saying there isn't a place for conjecture, opinion and analysis because there certainly is. But, it must be made clear that is what's being presented.

There is a place for the Sean Hannitys and Lawrence O'Donnells of the world. When I watch them I am not expecting objectivity because they are not bound to it. They don't refer to themselves as journalists.

People don't trust the media. There are plenty of reasons why that is. But, one of the biggest is because people don't believe them.

They don't believe them, in part, because they are not consistently objective in their reporting. As I said earlier, they will list a litany of facts and then refuse to hold people accountable when they lie about those facts. Because, they don't want to appear biased.

What the media doesn't seem to understand or simply don't care is that when they do not contradict falsehoods they're undermining their own reporting. They are giving the impression they don't believe in their work.

If I report Billy Bob is hitting the pipe twice a day and declare it fact because I have credible sourcing, but I refuse to contradict Billy Bob when he denies it then that would give the impression either I don't have faith in my story or I am lying. Truth is neither are true; I am just trying to be "fair and balanced". But, what I am actually doing is undermining my own story because I don't want to seem biased. Doesn't that sound silly?

For our democracy to thrive we need an adversarial free objective press. We can have sycophants and "advocate journalists" which is the bullshit Sean Hannity calls himself.

However, the rank and file press corps has a responsibility to the truth. They should not be beholden to corporate interests or folks' irrational need to be right and feel vindicated in their own feelings, beliefs and prejudices.

The media's job is to inform the masses and keep a check on power whether the masses or the power wants them to or not.

I want to touch on one more thing which somewhat has to do with this topic, the media being "liberal".

The media is not liberal. The media is corporatist which means they're establishment.

For my conservative friends who think the media is some arm of the left-wing you might be shocked to know what the actual left-wing thinks about that. I implore you to go on YouTube and watch multiple videos of The Young Turks, Secular Talk, The Majority Report, The Humanist Report and The Rational National and see what they think of the mainstream media. They're distrust of the media is about the same level as yours. Y'all think MSNBC is the "liberal" channel? Tell me if you still think that after watching some of these videos.

Anyway, the media has to stop caring what people and politicians think. They need to do their jobs. Report the facts-not your facts or my facts but the objective tangible truth!

Hoping For Impeachment Is An Exercise In Vain

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, was implicated in a crime Tuesday (August 21st). His former lawyer and "fixer", Michael Cohen, plead guilty in court to EIGHT counts of campaign finance law infractions and President Trump was named as an unindicted co-conspirator.

The aforementioned campaign finance violations involved $130,000 and $150,000 payments to porn star, Stormy Daniels, and former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, respectively. Both women allege they had sexual encounters with President Trump. (Excuse me. I throw up in my mouth a little every time it's mentioned.)

These payments are not only campaign finance law infractions because Trump instructed Cohen to do it and the payments were never reported, but because Trump Organization's reimbursement to Cohen for the payments were apparently listed under "sham invoices" along with not being reported on the Trump Organization's taxes it is highly likely money laundering and tax fraud were committed.

Now, this along with the fact Trump has literally been violating emolument clauses since the day he took office seems it could be enough to at least start impeachment proceedings.

But, all of you becoming giddy at the idea Cheeto Jesus will get what's coming to him are going to be deeply disappointed.

Despite the delusions of Trump and his base the Democrats look poised to gain a plethora of House seats in the midterms. Polls show that Democrats as a whole have an 8% advantage in whom Americans want to control the House of Representatives. The Dems could also very possibly gain control of the Senate.

However, there are caveats. Yes, if the Democrats take control of the House they could also and likely would impeach Trump.

But, for him to be removed from office the Senate has to convict him with a two-thirds majority. That isn't happening.

At best Democrats will gain a 52-48 margin after the midterm elections. That would mean for an impeachment conviction to go through 15 Republicans would have to vote for conviction and that's if all 52 Dems were to convict. Good luck finding 15 Republicans with the spine to do it.

Now, I know what some of you are saying, "But, what if more corruption comes to the surface?" Much more will guaranteed come out.

Look, Trump knows he's in deep. David Pecker, head of the National Enquirer, was granted immunity Friday. He is completely in the middle of these payments to Daniels and McDougal.

Longtime Trump Organization CFO, Allen Weisselberg, was granted immunity on Friday. It is presumed over these payments. But, commonsense tells you for him to be granted immunity it's about much more than payments to porn stars. He knows everything financially when it pertains to Trump. If he starts singing all of Trump's shady dealings, money laundering and connections to Russia and other foreign governments will be revealed.

And, it will mean nothing regarding the impeachment issue.

Most Dems, Liberals and Progressives are eagerly awaiting Robert Mueller's report. But, that excitement will be tempered. Not because Mueller will not find a military sized cargo plane full of dirt on Trump including conspiracy with the Russians during the 2016 election, but because it will not matter.

Trump's febrile base will not care about anything that is revealed. I just don't think they will . We already see evidence of that with more than 50% of these patriotic "real Americans" saying it was perfectly acceptable for a foreign power to interfere in our election (as long as it was for Trump).

Republican lawmakers know this. So, they will take the calculated risk of voting to acquit on impeachment charges even if it means abandoning their oath to protect the Constitution and the Republic and placing their own elections in peril.

The Republicans in Congress hopped aboard the Trump plane knowing the pilot is a maniacal delusional ill-equipped drunk knob who will eventually crash the plane. They had plenty of opportunities to grab a parachute and get the hell off the Dumbass 747. Instead they chose to pull down the oxygen masks and hope they survive the inevitable fiery crash.

Regardless of Trumpsters' denials and patently stupid assertions what Trump and Cohen dud wasn't a crime it is a crime-a serious one. Trump knows it is which is why he's so ignorantly asserting a false equivalency to the Obama campaign's finance violation in 2008.

It is also why Trump told Ainsley Earhardt of the hard hitting journalistic Fox and Friends, "Why would I get impeached when I've done such a good job." Of course, I would think the appropriate statement would've been, "Why would I get impeach when I've done nothing wrong." But, even he knows nobody would believe that.

As revealing as that answer was, Trump openly musing about "flipping" (meaning folks turning state's evidence on another criminal usually one up higher on the food chain) being made illegal was laughably transparent. He said so many peoples lives have been ruined because people cooperated with prosecutors instead of solely taking the fall themselves. Yes, the President of the United States essentially said that "snitches get stiches". It sounds like shit a mobster would say.

Any intelligent balanced person who saw that interview would've came away 100% convinced he's guilty as sin.

His base will not. Or, they simply will not care. The rule of law only applies to the "others". Can you imagine these folks' reaction if Hillary or Obama or Bernie had said anything close to what he said?

Again, all of this is why Republicans in Congress will never impeach Pussy Grabber. No crime is too seedy nor side piece too skanky to entice the GOP to develop a backbone or moral conscious as long as the base sticks by their orange savior.

Quite frankly, I don't see his hardcore base ever abandoning him.

Maybe...maybe if it was discovered he had sampled some of Oprah's chocolate puddin would they think he went a bridge too far.

Nah. They would just say, "See! We told you he isn't a racist!"

The Company You Keep

When I was a kid my mother would constantly say, "You are judged by the company you keep. People say, "Whether fairly or unfairly....", but there is nothing unfair about it. The people you choose to have around you is a reflection on you. Your choice in friends says something about who you are as a person."

I have always attempted to live by that adage. Probably because it was drilled into me from an early age.

As I have grown older, as with so many things my mother told me, I have began to realize the wisdom in the things she said and she was right.

Perhaps, the President would've benefited from someone equally wise in his life. Although, I am not sure it would've mattered.

This week has been a bad week for President Trump. He has seen his one time campaign manager, Paul "Ostrich Lover" Manafort, convicted on eight charges of bank and tax fraud. He could serve up to 80 years in the clink. Manafort is 69 years old.

And, Ostrich Lover has another trial for other charges in two weeks. That trial is seen as a probable slam dunk conviction.

Within the same hour Manafort was convicted the President's former attorney and "fixer", Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to eight counts of campaign finance violations.

In his confession before the judge Cohen detailed how he paid off porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal at the behest and direction of at the time Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Cohen says he also facilitated an agreement with National Enquirer chief, David Pecker, to not run the McDougal story. Cohen claimed this was done to mitigate any potential damage to his presidential candidacy. The "fixer" says he has receipts (both figurative and literal).

To make things just a bit more strenuous for President Trump Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, said Cohen will not accept a pardon. Additionally, Davis said Cohen has extensive information that would be of interest to Special Prosecutor, Robert Mueller.

Um, Donnie, you in troubllllllllle.

Here's the deal. You are the company you keep. Your choice of associates reflects who you are.

Trump is a weasel, slimeball, con artist, grifter, misogynist, fronter and crook. Guess what? He has been and is surrounded by all of those things.

CheetoJesus fancies himself a Don. Problem is he isn't Tony Soprano.

He is Fredo. He is a bumbling arrogant tool who exhibits no loyalty or ethics or competency. But, he encompasses himself with people who are just like him expecting them to be loyal, ethical and competent to and for him.

See, Trumpsters don't want to see this because they think he's the second coming of Christ or at the very least George Wallace and Jesse Helms. But, if they would just pull themselves away from Fox News, Breitbart and the Daily Stormer for one minute and conduct a Google search they would discover who Donald Trump really is. They would discover he is a lifelong grifter and disappointment.

It is actually kinda sad how history repeats itself. Cheets was the failure in his daddy's eyes that Don Jr. is in his. Donnie boy wasn't daddy's first choice to run shit. Fred Trump had to settle for him because his other offspring wanted nothing to do with the family business. It is a fact.

Trump has spent his life surrounding his privileged incompetent ass with seedy smarmy characters. He is known for playing footsies with mobsters because he wants to be one. Donnie has long associated himself with unpalatable lowlifes. Look up Felix Sater and Carl Paladino.

I literally laugh out loud every time Trump says he barely knows Paul Manafort and Roger Stone. Those two asshats, Manafort and Stone were business partners going back to the 1980s. And, guess what hack daddy's money funded real estate developer they did business with? You guessed it! Donald J. Trump!

And, I must say every person who regurgitates that bullshit about Manafort being a bit player in the campaign for a "short period of time" needs to sit their lying ass down. Manafort was the campaign manager and chair for four months! He literally led the operation for the Republican National Convention. Stop your bullshit NOW!!!

But, there are more asscrumbs. One time campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, is a seedy dude and has problems keeping his hands to himself regarding his behavior toward women.

The President's cabinet is full of grifters and unqualified people. You know, like him. Where shall we begin? Tom Price was ripping tax payers off by jet setting all over the globe.

Ben Carson was furnishing his office with gratuitous furniture. Ryan Zienke is doing the same.

Scott Pruitt has so many ethics violations you'd need an U-haul to transport all the documents.

Wilbur Ross is literally Trump's soulmate. Ross is a grifter who got rich stiffing vendors, bilking his business partners and isn't nearly as wealthy as he claims.

The first two United States congressman who endorsed Trump's campaign, Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter, have been indicted on federal corruption charges.

And, I won't even go into his children and the way they've funneled money from their charities and the family's fraudulent foundation.

Oh, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as Don Jr aka Usay was cheating on his wife with a Playboy Playmate.

Trump is as seedy and trifilin and crooked a man to ever be president. That includes Richard Nixon.

Trump shows loyalty to nobody. He turns on everybody eventually and leaves them holding the bag.

So, he can't be surprised that the likes of Michael Cohen is doing it to him. Or, Rick Gates, whom I haven't even mentioned.

And, there will be more. There is already a hint Manafort may say, "Efff this!" and flip.

Look, at his masterpiece, Omarosa. She has literally gone Frankenstein on him. She is a ratchet treacherous woman. Like him, she has no bounds.

But, unlike most of his circle, O isn't stupid or incompetent. However, like the others she learned from Trump self-preservation, if nothing else.

Melania warned him not to run. Most people assumed it was because she didn't want the media attention.

No, it's because she knew how unseeingly a human being is. I suspect she feared an increased spotlight on him and his dealings could be his downfall. She might be right.

Let's get this straight. Very few people are willing to go to prison for anyone including their mama. Nobody is going to prison for someone who sure as hell wouldn't do it for them.

When you lie down with flea infested dogs...

When you surround yourself with people in your image and you're shady as hell...

The Strawmen Defenses Against Claims Trump Is Racist

One of the most stringent critique of Donald Trump is he is a racist.

The media often pontificates whether Trump is a racist. You would be hard pressed to go beyond five or six tweets mentioning Trump without one of them saying he is a racist.

Trump himself fuels the fire by tweeting and saying things that are at the very least gleam racism, if not straight up racist. While Trump attacks everyone it often appears he employs racist tropes for his attacks on people of color.

Not to mention his immigration policies give some cause to believe he is racist. Also propelling the accusations of racism are the Justice Department's rolling back of some civil rights policies implemented by the Obama administration. And, Attorney General, Jeff Sessions' crackdown on petty drug charges and a refusal to address criminal justice reform, which many believe adversely directly affects communities of color.

All of this causes Trump's surrogates and cheerleaders to go on the numerous cable news shows and defend him.

He has many ardent defenders. Whenever something blatantly racist is said, takes place or there is desire to tout (lie) about Trump's outreach to African-American community the administration sends out all your favorite train riders: (Y'all know the train.) Paris Denard, Mark Burns, Daryl Scott and Katrina Pierson.

Other frequent dispatched defenders are Steve Cortes, Kellyanne Conway, Jason Miller, Corey Lewandowski and Anthony Scaramucci, "The Mooch".

Now, all of these folks as well as other Trump defenders have a couple of things in common. They are all strident defenders of Donald Trump. Also, none of them are ever adequately defend him from charges of racism without trotting out the same trite talking points. None of them!

Whether it's #Charlottesville or his attacks on NFL players or his penchant for belittling black folks' intelligence Trump's band of misfit toys can never adequately defend the seemingly racist things he says nor can they really ever unequivocally say he is not a racist.

Sure, his surrogates always say, Donald Trump isn't a racist", but when pressed to provide tangible evidence they utilize the same tired strawmen.

The most played strawman is the economy. "Unemployment for African -Americans is the lowest in history." They all sound like Stepford wives when roll this disingenuous assertion as if it's proof of anything.

Yes, it is a fact, black unemployment is historically low. What these knobs always "fail" to mention is that the trend downward in black unemployment started under Barack Obama's stewardship. Trump has maintained the level. Also, it must be noted black unemployment is still double the rate of white unemployment. What is additionally overlooked is wage growth is stagnant at best and most of the jobs added are low wage jobs, which is the case across the board regardless of race or ethnicity.

But, my question is what the hell does that have to do with whether Trump is a racist? Nothing is the answer. The fact is the economy is doing somewhat good so it stands to reason theoretically everyone would benefit. Trump hasn't done anything specific to the black community to improve its financial status. This is why it's a stupid strawman defense.

Another ill thought out defense is Trump has people of color who support him. So? The number of people who don't far outnumber the ones who do.

The issue with the poc who do support him is they always sound like folks who are mainstays on that train. Remember the Mexican dude who during the campaign said Trump had to win the election "because his people are a strong people. If we don't do something about illegal aliens there will be taco trucks on every corner."

During the campaign on CNN Katrina Pierson, who is biracial, described herself and Obama as "half-breeds". Before she joined the campaign on Twitter she referred to Obama as the "head negro in charge". And, she lamented the fact Obama and Romney weren't "pure breeds" and asked, "Are there any pure breeds left?"

Then, you have the likes of Paris Dennard, CNN contributor. This fool...It is hard to watch him on television honestly. He once threw a hissy fit because Angela Rye and Mark Lamont Hill chastised him for essentially saying it was alright if a white person referred to him as a monkey. Just last Monday he refused to condemn Trump's comments about "some are very fine people" regarding the White Nationalists and Nazis in Charlottesville instead choosing to throw another fit and attack CNN host, Erin Burnett, for even asking the question.

Oh, and the gem of the group, Pastor Daryl Scott who said of Trump, "This is the most pro-black president of our generation."...Really! Of course, he couldn't name one pro-black thing Trump had done other than...the unemployment rate.

It also isn't lost on me that abject ignorance of his statement. Pastor Scott is 60 years old. John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have all been president since he's been alive and all have done more for blacks than the Tangerine Crook.

Every time any of these people speak attempting and failing to claim Trump isn't racist all I hear is, "Ohs, no! Massa Trump is a good man. You ungrateful Negros are too stupid to understand how wonderful he is. I mean Massa has even let us inside Trump Tower. He let us be free as long as we abide by the non-disclosure agreement. A racist man wouldn't do that. Besides, he be talking about all you basic Negras. Not us. He likes us."

Whenever Trump receives pushback regarding his racist tendencies the surrogates love to exclaim, "Omarosa, a strong African-American woman, is in the White House!" Ooooops. Can't use that anymore.

Omarosa was the highest ranking official in the White House says every Trump official. However, she wasn't in the West Wing which is where the President's actual advisory officials all office.

The truth is there isn't an African-American in the West Wing. And the number is miniscule in the East Wing where Omarosa resided.

The most prominent black official in the entire administration is HUD Secretary, Ben Carson, who is unqualified for his position. He is a retired brain surgeon who never worked in housing. He is there because Trump needed a token and Dr. Carson kissed up to Massa. In fact, the stated reason Dr. Carson was named HUD secretary is because "he used to live in the projects". Really!

It is so sad to see these people go on CNN and Fox News attempting to defend the latest racist thing Trump said. MSNBC barely even entertains this farcical bullshit anymore.

None of them ever provide anecdotal let alone tangible evidence exemplifying Trump is not a racist. They use the same strawnen which prove nothing.

Regardless if it's Charlottesville, Central Park Five, Birtherism, Trump saying blacks are lazy, attacking black people's IQ all of these surrogates gloss over it and say it's a media narrative. They cannot explain it away. They don't even claim he's changed regarding the older examples. They just won't acknowledge it.

When all else fails they say Trump is not racist because they've never heard him saying anything racist. Lol. We all know that is a lie. Some of them have been exposed as being present when he says racist shit.

But, when they say they've never heard anything racist what they really mean is they've never heard him say the "n-word". Of course, none of them will attest they believe he's never said it.

The most stunning and mouth gaping example of this was Sarah Huckabee Sanders earlier in the week when asked about Omarosa's assertion there exists a tape with Trump saying the "n-word". Now, Sanders, who lies shamelessly and without hint of hesitation every day would not guarantee no tape exists of Trump saying the "n-word". It was a revealing moment.

A week ago the other notorious unabashed liar, Kellyanne Conway, when asked to name ONE senior White House official who is African-American could not. Nor, would she say unequivocally there is no tape of Trump saying the "n-word".

Look, when the number two and three biggest liars to ever be in the White House won't lie to defend the number one biggest liar from charges of using racial slurs, there is some credibility to charges of racism.

Fact is, all of Trump's defenders keep getting tripped up by the same wires. They know at the very least he peddles racism and uses it as political currency with his base. They also know or at least greatly suspect he is a bonafide racist. And, they realize it's hard to defend the indefensible.

I understand none of these people care if he's a racist and have zero hesitation in defending him even if they appear cartoonish. Whether it's money, power, recognition or they really are just self-loathing Uncle Tom and Tomasinas sacks of shit or a combo these people have deemed it is worth the cost.

It is a sad thing, really, sacrificing your dignity for a racist.

Regardless, the defenses employed are almost as silly, disingenuous and intellectually dishonest as the defenders themselves.

It's The President Who's "Wacky" And "Not Smart"

Make America great again!

That is the slogan the President ran his 2016 campaign on and continues to propagate. But, as we encroach the completion of his nineteenth month in office it could be argued few people outside his rabid obsequious base thinks America is better.

Now, I am not going down the rabbit hole of what is the actual meaning or intent of the "Make America Great Again" slogan. I have my belief. It is unquestionable the slogan inherently implies America is not great but was at one time. Every single Trumpster (and I mean every single one) I have ever asked, "When approximately was America last great?", will not answer. The non-answer essentially substantiates my belief of what the reason is. But, moving on...

The President promised to restore "honor" back to the White House. Putting aside the factoid there was no need to restore honor let us see if he has done what he had promised.

He started off his presidency by lying about his imagination. He claimed it was "bright and sunny" and it was a "much larger crowd than Obama's".

Well, for those of us with televisions not to mention those in attendance it was quite obvious it was dreary rainy day. That is why everyone had umbrellas. Those in attendance were also able to clearly see the inauguration crowd wasn't anywhere close to President Barack Obama's or President George W. Bush's for that matter.

A couple of months later he accused President Obama of personally "wiretapping" him at Trump Tower. Of course, this was not true. Members of his campaign were LEGALLY under surveillance for "unusual contacts with Russians".

A couple of months after that moment the President fired FBI Director, James Comey, for what he said was "the Russ-her investigation".

Then the President brought honor to the office by hiring Anthony Scaramucci as White House Communications Director. "The Mooch" lasted a mere ten days in the job. He was fired after during an interview with a reporter he went on a profanity laced tirade which featured him saying Steve Bannon, White House Chief Strategist (at the time) could suck his own dick.

Next came the most disgraceful moment of this clown show presidency, #Charlottesville. What would've been a layup win for any other president turned into a cluster for this current president. He would not point blank denounce White Nationalists and Neo-Nazis. In fact, he went a step further morally equating those hate mongers with the people protesting hate. We all remember the "some of them are very fine people" remark.

So many examples exist of this president's failed moral leadership and common decency.

During these 19 months the current president has a laundry list of incidents that are nowhere near becoming the office of President.

He literally lives on Twitter, which he sees as his best way of communicating. The truth is he can say whatever he wants on Twitter without being directly confronted as opposed to a news conference where reporters can theoretically call out his bullshit.

The President of the United States has utilized Twitter to get in Twitter beefs with or attack Snoop Dogg, Kathy Griffin, Jay-Z, NFL players, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mika Bryzenski, LaVar Ball, Stephen Curry, Don Lemon, Meryl Streep, Robert DeNiro, LeBron James and numerous others.

But, he hasn't only used Twitter to attack celebrities, athletes and reporters he also gone after political figures foreign and domestic. He has attacked James Comey, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, the FBI, the CIA, Sen. Bob Corker, Sen. Jeff Flake, Susan Rice, Sally Yates, Rep. Mark Sanford, Sen. John McCain and so many others.

The President has actually fired two administration officials on Twitter. Former Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, and former Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, first learned of their dismissals on Twitter. Seriously!

No president has ever lied more than the current one. To date he has told well over 4,000 lies and misleading statements. He averages over six lies told a day. Let that sink in.

America is also being made great by great by the complete shade he throws at our allies. The President has personally insulted Angel Merkel, Justin Trudeau, Theresa May, and Emmanuel Macron the leaders of Gernany, Canada, Great Britain and France respectively. All of them are greatest and most important allies.

He has started a trade war with all those countries and China. His trade war has resulted in the loss of thousands of American jobs. Several plants and factories have been forced to shutdown. Many economists warn disaster is imminent if these tariffs aren't lifted.

During the campaign promises were made to improve healthcare and leave entitlements alone. Shocker! The opposite has taken place.

Healthcare hasn't improved but became worse. Because of numerous executive orders repealing Obamacare mandates millions have lost health insurance. Because an outright repeal of the Affordable Care Act in Congress failed the current administration is systematically dismantling it causing premiums to increase. All of this is being done with absolutely no replacement in sight.

As for entitlements the current budget proposed by the administration cuts Medicare, Medicaid and welfare assistance. The budget also cuts funding for education, mental illness assistance, and VA funding!

Speaking of veterans, this administration loves to tout how much they care them but says the government doesn't have enough money for the VA. But, there seems to be enough cash to increase the military budget by $100 billion. Our military budget was already larger than the next nine largest military budgets combined!

Granted included in the budget increase is a 2.1% raise for military personnel, which the President claims is the largest in decades. That isn't true. President Obama gave the soldiers a larger increase a couple of years ago.

Regardless, the soldiers deserved pay increase aside, most of this increased budget spending is foolish excess.

And, let us not forget money was found for a stupid ass Space Force because our President thinks wars are about to break out in space. Or, he is just ignorant and narcissistic and wants to be given credit for something "great" which is actually nonsensical. By the way the startup cost of the Space Force is $8 billion.

We will not even get into the tax cuts, 83% of which only benefits the top 1%. And, these tax cuts will cost the taxpayer $2 trillion.

But, Medicare-For-All is too costly. Also, it's just too expensive right now to adequately fund education and entitlement programs that are essential to every day Americans.

Now, the President's supporters and advocates will pushback and say, "The economy is doing great and it's all because of the President!" But, is it?

It is true the economy is good. It has stayed steady under the President's watch. However, giving the President all the credit is quite disingenuous. He inherited this economy from President Obama and it's at about the same rate.

The numbers of new jobs added are slightly less than they were under Obama. The unemployment rate is essentially same as it was under Obama. The GDP rate the President loves to brag about is overall the same as it was under the previous administration. The President was euphoric over the 4.1 GDP last month. However, Obama had five months with the GDP over 4.0 including two months that were over 5.0.

Also, much like under Obama, wage growth is at best stagnant. Actually, wage growth has slightly decreased. And, most of the jobs added are low wage jobs which is some of the reason for the stagnant wage growth.

I saved the best for last. The handling of the immigration issue has been atrocious and I would argue worse than the encumber that was #Charlottesville.

This administration has been more hardlined on immigration than any one in recent memory for sure. They haven't just increased enforcement of illegal immigration but legal immigration too.

The President bemoaned African immigrants calling African nations "shithole countries". He said Haitians were riddled with AIDS and intentionally infecting Americans. He said immigrants from the south were "animals" and "an infestation". He, also, openly opined he wanted immigrants from "Norway and Sweden".

Along with his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, the President implemented a 100% no tolerance policy on illegal immigrants. This resulted in not only a crackdown on illegal immigrants but those legally seeking asylum.

The administration also made it policy to separate children from their parents. Advocates and supporters for the President misleadingly said Obama had done the same. While it was true the Obama administration separated families it was in a discriminate and minute fashion and applied to parents with criminal records or if there was substantive cause to believe the adults accompanying the children weren't the legal parents or guardians.

The current administration was indiscriminately separating most families. Over 2500 children had been separated from their parents.

What made this indefensibly despicable was these children were placed in cages. Not summer camp as Laura Ingrahm's trifilin ass claimed.

Workers weren't allowed to console upset children. They weren't even allowed to change babies' diapers. In most cases minimal, if any, communication was allowed between the children and their parents.

Despite weeks ago a judge ordering these troglodytes to reunite these families hundreds of children still haven't been returned to their parents.

The truth is America hasn't been made greater by this current president. It could be profoundly argued America has been worsened.

Throughout the 2016 campaign we heard terms like "leading from behind" and "feckless leadership" describing President Obama. I'll concede some of that criticism was warranted.

But, what about now? Trumpsters and the President will say world leaders respect our president again. Who? Name one.

Vladimir Putin? He doesn't respect the President. He sees him as a "useful idiot". I don't know about the former but the latter is certifiably applicable.

Kim Jong-Un? Child, please! He lied to him just like North Korea has lied to every other president. The only difference is other presidents didn't heap praise upon the North Korean leader and openly display envy that Kim's people reverence him.

Our allies no longer trust us.  In one way or another we've isolated ourselves from each of them. All of them think our president is an uncouth bombastic uninformed jackass who is only a master in dumbassary and fuckery. And, they are correct.

We have a president who doesn't feel it's necessary to read daily intelligent briefings because he "has a big brain and is a smart guy". The intelligence people have to literally use pictures, mention his name gratuitously in the briefings and keep the briefings to a page or so, so when the "smart guy" does read them it will keep his attention.

While we have homeless vets, starving children and millions without adequate medical insurance our president chooses to become embroiled in Twitter beefs instead of focusing on solutions to these issues.

It is apparent we have a racial divide in this country. However, the President makes no effort to unite the country instead he intentionally goes out of his way to divide it.

He is supposed to be president of the entire country, but continuously attacks people of color while being an apologist for White Nationalists. He repeatedly espouses racist tropes such as blacks have "low IQs" and Hispanics (Puerto Rico) are lazy.

Additionally, he again and again utters his misogyny and disrespect for women. The President simply cannot refrain from referencing women's looks. He also can't help himself when it comes to comparing them to dogs and pigs.

What is simultaneously sadly ironic and hilarious is that his policies and failings affect the people who support and subjugate to him the most. Even sadder while he is patently idiotic he realizes his base will support him no matter what. They'll even support him when is manifestly screwing them over. I'll let you decide who that says more about.

It is not up for debate how uninformed and ignorant this man is. He is proudly un-read and possesses zero intellectual curiosity.

He has no shame in going before the American people repeating lies and misleading statements that have been debunked multiple times.

He employs no shame in having an administration full of grifters and crooks who have literally stole from the American people. Scott Pruitt. Tom Price. Ryan Zinke. Wilbur Ross.

He has no abashment about putting veterans' services into the hands of oligarchs who are simply pilfering the system for themselves and him. But, he loves the vets!

And, you know what is depressing? I only touched on a fraction of the bullshit this administration has burdened the American people with.

I didn't go into the numerous of unqualified people working in vital government jobs. I didn't touch on his innumerable emoluments violations. I didn't address the way he has Sarah Huckabee Sanders lie her hillbilly ass off everyday.

I didn't mention his unfettered disdainful attacks on the media and the First Amendment. Or, about his authoritarian leanings.

And, who can forget his lechery? Stormy Daniels. Karen McDougall. A possibly paid abortion. Nineteen women credibly accusing him of sexual assault.

Then, you have Omarosa. The fact she was employed in the White House to begin with. The fact she was able to record people in highly sensitive and secured areas of the White House. And, she obviously has receipts on him, his ratchet family and potentially every shitty member of the administration.

There is so much more. Michael Cohen. Russia investigation.

So, how is America greater? This presidency is a shit show! It is an embarrassment.

Yet, people still defend it. I'm quite sure I've triggered some folks. Oh, well.

I defy anyone to contradict everything I laid out. But, if you do, come with facts! No strawnans or Fox News lies here. I will knock them down.

This crap is tiresome. The presidency is not supposed to be a sequel to the effin Apprentice.

I am so flippin tired of hearing, too, how a dude who had SIX BANKRUPTCIES and ran THREE CASINOS INTO THE GROUND is a great businessman. Fo' real?!

Y'all know damn well if it was a brotha who had done that, you'd call him a hustler and a crook.

America hasn't been made "great again"; it has been embarrassed over and over and over.

Trifilin O Vs. Ratchet Cheeto

I never thought in my lifetime or the next ten I would see a United States president involved in a rap style beef with a reality television star. Yet, here we are with the current president beefing with his former protege. Then again who would've ever thought a reality tv star masquerading as a businessman who has actually filed bankruptcy six times including running three casinos into the ground would be elected president. I mean isn't it virtually impossible to bankrupt a casino? I digress.

As I am sure most know former White House administration official and reality tv villain, Omarosa Manigault-Newnan, has recently published a tell-all book, Unhinged, about President Trump and what she describes as a chaotic White House full of liars and sycophants. The book has caused quite a stir as Omarosa has levied some pretty serious but not surprising allegations regarding the President. She also taped (what she says) numerous conversations with multiple people during her time in the White House. And, she has already released three tapes, which I will address, as evidence supporting her many allegations.

She says she has seen the light and now realizes Trump is a liar, racist and misogynist. She, also, now realizes Santa isn't real and Stephen Miller is indeed a vampire.

In addition, Omarosa claims Trump is on tape saying the n-word. This tape is allegedly apart of outtakes from The Apprentice. Omarosa also claims she has heard the aforementioned tape.

Now, Omarosa is not the first person who has claimed tapes exist of Trump using the n-word as well as comments similar to those he said on the Access Hollywood tape. Penn Jillette, Tom Arnold, a couple of former contestants and two former Apprentice producers have also said the tapes exist. Republican strategist, Rick Wilson, implied such recordings exist right after the release of the Access Hollywood tape.

Omarosa also says Trump used racial slurs in her presence regarding Kellyanne Conway's husband, George Conway, who is half Philippine descent. Additionally, Omarosa says Trump literally talks shit about everyone behind their back including his kids. Well, except for Ivanka because...well...how should I say he has a fondness for her no father should have for his daughter. But, that's none of my business.

If you remember Omarosa was fired back in December of 2017. At the time the White House didn't provide a reason for her firing. However it was "leaked" that Omarosa was behaving "inappropriately". It was also leaked O was forcibly escorted from White House grounds and actually tried to get back on the premises during a White House Christmas party.

A couple of weeks later Omarosa went on Good Morning America denying the aforementioned accounts of her firing and claimed White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly, had it out for her firing her without the President's knowledge.

Sunday on Meet The Press Omarosa provided a recording of Kelly firing her in the Situation Room. The recording corroborated her account more than it did Kelly's. In addition the next day Omarosa released recording of a private phone call she had with Trump where he feigned not having any idea she had been canned and being upset about it.

Of course, Trump responded this with dignity, grace and a thoughtful statement. No, he didn't! He responded with usual bluster and petulance.

Saturday he called her a lowlife. Sarah Huckabee Sanders followed with a statement that she's a liar and opportunist. How that heffa doesn't get struck by lightning every time she speaks I'll never know.

Then, Trump really ignited the beef. Monday, he referred to her as "wacky" and "vicious but not smart". The latter was not only projection but a clear glimpse into his values and what he finds admirable. That was followed by one of Trump's best "Aunt Tomasinas", Katrina Pierson, refuting a claim from Omarosa's book she had admitted Trump used the "n-word".

That impelled O releasing a third tape that revealed Pierson indeed had admitted Trump used the "n-word".

Nonetheless, Trump continued his assault on Omarosa saying she begged for a job with "tears in her eyes". He mentioned she had been fired four times glossing over the fact he hired her three times after he fired her. What a buffoon!

Trump saved his worst for last calling O "deranged" and "that dog". This asscrumb just can't refrain from referring to women as animals can he?

Our esteemed president also tweeted that Apprentice producer, Mark Burnett, "called him assuring him no tapes existed" of him saying the "n-word". He continued that he has never used the "vile" word and "it's not in his vocabulary". Forget Smokey Eye how does lightening not strike his ass?

Let's break that last tweet down. If Trump has never used the "n-word" as he and the White House claim then why the hell does Burnett need to assure him no tapes exist? That implies, hell it certifies, he has said the "n-word" before and reveals a he believed a tape could exist. It obviously means that because why else would he need assurance?

Look, I'm going to break this shit down. Omarosa is a trifilin ass woman who possesses minimal credibility. She is the prototype of an opportunist, a hustler which exactly the reason Trump took her under his wing. O is a liar, treacherous and vindictive. Those are qualities #CheetoJesus admires.

When he says she is "vicious but not smart" he is projecting but also giving insight. He admires viciousness because he is vicious but ge certainly isn't smart and this is where the projection comes in.

The truth is Omarosa is many things but "not smart" isn't one of them. She has actually displayed she's considerably smarter than Trump and the White House. The student is playing the master.

#Cheets and those clowns in his White House thought O was bluffing about tapes. They have tried to call her out. Thus far, however, she has proven to have receipts. She claims she has infinitely more tapes and evidence to substantiate everything in her book.

Does she? This is Omarosa. She could be lying. But, she has already called three bluffs. So, is anyone in the administration willing to take the chance Omarosa doesn't literally have a treasure trove of receipts?

I don't think so. That is why they filed arbitration to prevent her from releasing any more tapes under the argument she is breaking her non-disclosure agreement from the campaign which she signed. The problem with that is the nda is likely not binding for her time in the White House and if the Trump administration thought it was then why did they offer her another nda with a $15,000 a month payoff, which she refused to sign?

Omarosa claims every single administration official who has left or been fired was offered and signed the same agreement. That begs the question where is the money coming from to fund these payoffs? You damn well know it's not coming out of Trump's personal coffers.

Another issue Omarosa has levied upon this clown show is the national security issue. How was Omarosa allowed to record people in the Situation Room, Oval Office and other highly secured areas of the White House?

When Omarosa was canned they had to know this was coming. But, they didn't because this administration is full of hacks and imbeciles starting at the very top. It is another classic example of how raw arrogance and sheer dumbassery is a horrible combination.

Trump literally created Omarosa in his image and now his creation has turned on him. She is beating him at his own game with his own tactics.

This buffoon may have met his match. Every other person Trump has started these beefs with have refused to go down into the gutter with him. If the last 15 years of Omarosa in the public eye has shown us anything it's shown she is a shameless opportunist and promoter and there is no depth too low.

Her master taught her well. And, she is unquestionably smarter than her master.

Now, as entertaining as this beef has been and most assuredly will continue to be, it is also yet another embarrassing face palming covering head in shame encumbering moment this president has saddled upon the American people. Really?! What must the neighbors think?

Lemme keep it real. I don't need a tape of Trump saying "nigger" to prove he's a racist. Neither do I need Omarosa to "confirm" he is. Thanks, Boo, but like telling me the Kardashians have done more damage to black men in America than crack; the Klan; or mixtapes I don't need you to tell me the blatantly obvious.

It really doesn't matter whether a tape comes out or Omarosa provides all the receipts and a 55 gallon drum of tea. Those of who know what Trump is will not be surprised. And, sadly, those who support him will not care whatsoever. They will moralize and excuse it like they do everything else. Quite frankly, if Trump is heard saying "nigger" it will endear a fraction of his base to him even more.

Right now.........This is America...

One Year After Charlottesville The Alt-Right Is Back To "Unite The Right"

This Sunday (August 12th) marks the one year anniversary of #Charlottesville.

It was one year ago the Alt-Right comprising of White Nationalists, Klu Klux Klansmen and Neo-Nazis marched in Charlottesville, Virginia under the guise of protesting the statue removal of Confederate general Robert E. Lee. What wound up taking place was the night before the actual march a group of white Polo shirt wearing, khaki pants sporting, fake tiki torch carrying assholes (mostly men) filled the town square chanting, "Jew will not replace us!" They also chanted a familiar Nazi slogan, "Blood and soil". And, their most trite chant was, "White lives matter."

Once the entire group of scholars filled the square they decided to descend upon a church where anti-protestors were inside peacefully PRAYING. The tiki torch bearing mob stormed into the church shouting, "Blood and soil!"

The next day the golf shirt/khaki pants clad clan was joined by Klansmen, other White Nationalists and Neo-Nazis as all of them filled the streets of Charlottesville chanting all of their classic highly intelligent slogans. They were met with resistance from anti-protestors.

Needless to say, the situation became inflamed. Fairly quickly violence ensued instigated by the Alt-Right protestors.

Eventually, the police (who were woefully unprepared) was able to quell the situation and disperse the crowds. That is when a deranged racist decided to get in his car, speed into a crowd of anti-protestors hitting a young woman killing her. That young woman's name is Heather Heyer. Heather Heyer! The right wing, the president and the #Charlottesville protestor apologists seem to have difficulty saying her name. SAY HER NAME! HEATHER HEYER!

We all know what subsequently took place. The President of the United States refused to condemn the Alt-Right protestors. Initially, he laid the blame for HEATHER HEYER'S death at the feet of the anti-protestors. Then, he somewhat walked that back saying there was "blame on both sides" despite the fact the Alt-Right protestors incited the violence. (And, don't say a damn word about ANTIFA! I know they were there. They didn't become violent until they stepped in to protect a young woman who was getting beat up by a grown man...or some facsimile. I watched the entire situation play out live on television. )

A few days later the President once again was an apologist for the racists. After essentially morally equating White Nationalists and Neo-Nazis with those protesting against hate and racism our President said some of the White Nationalists and Nazis, whom I remind you were chanting "Jew will not replace us" and "Blood and soil" were "very fine people". He added there were fine people on "both sides". 😐

Well, guess who's back to commemorate such a fine moment in American history? Yes, kids, it is the Alt-Right. They are once again marching to "Unite The Right".

After the city of Charlottesville essentially told them to go fuck themselves they decided to hold this year's rally in the current residence of their hero. That is right, the rally is being held in Washington D.C. Hell, the rally's site is literally in shouting distance from the White House.

But, this year the organizers are promising a peaceful protest will take place. They are promoting a kinder gentler form of white supremacy...errrr...I mean white pride. That is what they want it called.

The organizers said they don't want a repeat of last year. Last year made them look like "dorks" and. "losers" they said. One leader said they looked like "thugs". "Thugs", you say. Noooooo, get the hell outta here.

So, in that spirit they are not allowing any Nazi flags or regalia. Swastikas are prohibited. Only the American flag and the Confederate flag are allowed. The main organizer for this meeting of intellectual minds said the image of the Alt-Right must change. He said, "We must continue to look cool, hip, sexy." 😐 This fool thinks they look "hip and sexy". *Sigh* Lawd, I know they are yo chirrhens too but.....#ISimplyCannot

The #UniteTheRight march's cause this year is "white civil rights". Lol. Excuse me for laughing. I am sorry. Wait, no I'm not.

The audacity of these jackasses is astounding. "White civil rights"? These racist clowns are asserting that white people are being disenfranchised and discriminated against worse than any minority ever has. They are seriously claiming that whites are the only people in the country, which is "their country" who don't have civil rights protection. According to them it isn't people of color who are oppressed it is they who are oppressed. This is a "white Christian country" and they can't get a fair shake....................................

*Deep breath* Okay. Yes, racists and bigots it is you are the oppressed. I mean only 80 or 85% of the Congress is white men. Of the many billionaires this country has all but three are white. That is bullshit isn't it, Hoss? Ya know the vast majority of people with power in this country are white but that means a Negro or Mexican somewhere has power and authority. Unacceptable! Although white people proportionately commit the same number of crimes as blacks it is blacks who are significantly more incarcerated with measurably longer sentences. White folks abuse as many drugs as African-Americans and Hispanics; however, whites are frequently placed in rehab while Black and Brown folks are denied bail and subsequently placed in the clink. Yes, the #StruggleIsReal

Stop it! Your civil rights aren't being violated.

It is unfathomable to me how these clowns can never see how many of them are in the exact same boat as many people of color. Like many of us, they are living paycheck to paycheck. Like us they are struggling to find ways to send their kids to college. And, like us the elites don't give a shit about them. That includes their hero, Donald Trump. They are nothing more than a vote to him.

They should ask themselves what has his policies really done for them. Sure, these asinine culture wars he ignites energizes them but to what end? I know that the right in general loves to believe most of the country is like them. It simply is not.

But they allow their hate, fear, ignorance and myopia drive them and control their thinking. They willingly allow their ignorance and fear of "the other" to cloud their intellect and erode their sense of decency.

Because of their willful close-mindedness, I have no empathy for them. Hundreds of these tools will be in attendance tomorrow chanting and spewing hate. They will gleefully exhort white supremacy. They will attempt to cloak their racism in claims of simply wanting to extol the virtues of being white. They will fallaciously say they want every race to preserve its heritage and "identity". Their biggest lie of all will be they are not racists; they just want to preserve their "heritage".

No, what they actually believe and want is quite nuanced. They want America to be a "White ethno state". They want the same for all Western civilizations. What their goal to do is extract every single person of color from this country. They say the United States of America is "their" country and people of color don't belong here.

They want to return America to a "white" country. What these intellectually remedial knobs don't or can't or refuse to understand is this country has never been a "white only" country. Never!

I am not going to explain the entire history of this country. It's not my fault if these imbeciles do not know American history. The fact is white Europeans stole this land from Native Americans and subsequently killed the men while raping and killing innocent women and children. Then they brought Africans here to be slaves whether it was by hook or by crook. Subsequently, the Chinese, Mexicans, Japanese and many others came here. And, all stayed.

What these Alt-Right folks' don't understand is America has never been a white only country; it's been a white dominant country. Now, because of the changing "demographics" and the implementation of Civil Rights these fools think they're losing "their country". They are not losing anything and it was never only their country. They just controlled everything by any means necessary.

So, I sincerely hope nothing goes sideways tomorrow. But, I wholeheartedly hope people who are for equality and against dehumanization of people show up and counter the hate. Make it clear to them, their apologists, their closet supporters and everyone else racism, hate, bigotry, xenophobia and anti-Semitism will not be tolerated or condoned or excused. Anyone supporting hate is not a fucking "very fine person" nor is there "good people on both sides". One side is for equality and inclusion. The other side is for eradication of anyone who isn't Anglo-Saxon.

No moral equivalency exists.

Censorship Is Not The Answer To Hate Speech And Disinformation

The topic of free speech is once again front and center in the public discourse.

As many know InfoWars owner and primary host, Alex Jones, was banned this past Tuesday almost simultaneously by ITunes, Spotify, Facebook and YouTube. The reason provided was Jones had repeatedly violated the various platforms' terms of service, which he clearly had. However, despite the validity of the platforms' stated reasons it was disingenuous. The primary reason Jones was banned because a boycott was brewing over Jones' repeated insidious claims the Sandy Hook massacre was a "hoax" and "false flag".

Despite a lawsuit filed by the deceased children's families and repeated admonishments by the social media platforms to cease spewing the conspiracy theories Alex Jones continued to propagate his baseless heinous conspiracies.

Jones has led a campaign that has essentially victimized these families all over again. At one point he actually released the addresses of some of the families. Of course, this led to some of his demented flock harassing and threatening these already traumatized families. In fact, one family has had to move to seven times over the last five years or so because of the harassment. One of Jones' followers was actually sentenced to five months in prison because of her harassing and threatening behavior towards the family.

Alex Jones has been largely unrepentant regarding this behavior or his conspiracy theory. At one point he did issue a half-assed apology only to resume his defamatory rhetoric including after the aforementioned lawsuit was filed.

While this is the most grotesque of his speech it is certainly far from his only sins. He has literally built a career on vomiting inane cursory fallacious conspiracies. Pretty much every government agency and Democratic public figure has been a target. He has claimed Barack Obama is a demon. He has claimed numerous government agencies are placing chemicals in foods and toiletries to turn people and frogs gay. Yes, you read that correctly. He is obsessed with accusing people of running pedophile rings including Robert Mueller, Special Investigator of the Russian election interference investigation.

The list goes on and on and on. Jones is basically a whackjob and a hack. But, he has a fairly large following...because a huge segment of this country has apparently abandoned their senses, common sense and critical thinking. But, I digress.

Yet, with everything I listed I am taking the somewhat unpopular position he shouldn't have been removed off Facebook, YouTube, ITunes or Spotify.

While I fully acknowledge this is not a legal case of First Amendment rights infringement I do believe the spirit of the First Amendment is being violated. Look, social media platforms aren't public utilities. So, they are not legally beholden to free speech rights. However, because they are platforms whose specific purpose is to provide a forum for public discourse and opinions I believe they, as a matter of principle, should adhere to free speech guidelines.

Let me be PERFECTLY clear, I am not defending Alex Jones. He is a repugnant piece of shit. That is the kindest thing I can say.

He is a cancerous growth on society's ass. He is a vapid, shallow loathsome excuse for a human being. Anyone who spews the vile defamatory refuse that he does simply is not deserving of sympathy.

However, despite his insipidity and derangement, in my opinion he has a right to be heard. I hear the people who say, "To hell with him. He's an asscrumb." I do.

Believe me, I battled with this. My first inclination was to cheer his banishment. But, then I realized it is not right. It is not right because it sets a bad precedent. It is not right because I cannot stand up for the NFL players right to free speech, irregardless of the fact it's not a legal First Amendment issue, yet cheer this jackass being silenced. The situations are very similar.

Also, quite frankly, it just goes against my core beliefs. For example, I have always believed the Klan, Neo-Nazis and White Nationalists should be able to march and rally. It's their right. And, before some dipshit starts conflating my feelings about #Charlottesville. I never railed against those khaki wearing assholes' right to protest and assemble. My beef was with alleged Christian and "good" people either staying silent about it or being apologists for them. My anger was at the abject refusal by many to denounce that crap. It is a clear distinction.

Censorship leads us down a road to regret. It always has unintended consequences.

Those on the left who have cheered Alex Jones' banishment would be wise to keep in mind it's Alex Jones today but will certainly be one of you tomorrow or next week or next month. I already hear you saying there is no equivalent of Alex Jones on the left. I am inclined to agree, but it will not matter. Look at the NFL players. They exercised silent peaceful protests. Yet, because of some fan pressure and "you know who" sticking his nose in where it didn't belong the owners have attempted to band together to quell the players voice, if not silence it. Owners, Jerry Jones (Dallas Cowboys) and Stephen Ross (Miami Dolphins), have already made it abundantly clear regardless of the final NFL anthem policy any player who does not stand for the national anthem are subject to being cut.

It is a guarantee there will be Conservative advocates and watchdog groups scouring social media and left leaning platforms waiting for a left leaning commentator to say something controversial or defamatory. As soon as it happens (and it will) they will start a campaign demanding whomever it is be banned. And, lefties, you won't have recourse because private companies are not legally required to adhere to freedom of speech.

The answer to hate speech, defamatory speech and inane conspiracy theories isn't censorship. It is the same thing that is the answer to differing opinions. Discourse. Speech. The way to combat people like Alex Jones and White Supremacists is to debunk their nonsense with facts and evidence. Silence them with civil confrontation dismantling their ignorant and idiotic rhetoric. It is usually easy to do and can be done within minutes.

The way to deter defamatory speech start suing the shit out of folks who intentionally say fallacious bullshit.

Fight back not by hiding behind censorship but standing up!

Don't make imbeciles like Alex Jones martyrs or actually strengthening their pull by allowing them to play the victim.

Expose them for the fraudulent assclowns they are!

R. Kelly Is Trash!

NEW VIDEO! R. Kelly is a trash human being. Why are we still giving him space?!
